Tulum, November 30 (Galu Comunicación) .- The Mayor of Tulum, Víctor Mas Tah and his wife, Celia Aguilar Mas, gave mouth masks, made and designed by mayan women from this region to assistants to a gala dinner at a luxury hotel.
The pieces that both took to the inauguration of the Bahía Príncipe Tulum hotel complex strongly attracted the attention of those attending the ceremony, among them important executives of the Piñero Group, owner of the complex, as well as local officials, led by Governor Carlos Joaquín.

As a matter of fact, the executive vice president and CEO of the Spanish consortium, Encarna Piñero, received one of the pieces, which matched the colors of her dress.
In an interview with Galu Comunicación, Mayor Víctor Mas Tah said that they try to promote the use of mouth masks with this type of pieces.
Besides, they also promote the elaboration of these garments by mayan artisans.
He argued that the mouth mask has already became one more piece of people’s wardrobe and added that, so, they will seek that tourists can take it as a good souvenir, but also as a typical garment.
“We already saw that people liked them, so we have to make sure that tourists take this garment as a souvenir,” he finally said.
