Playa del Carmen, August (Galu Comunicación) .- The Inter-American University for Development (UNID by its acronym in spanish) and the State Government awarded the winners of the first state mouth mask design competition.
The state coordinator of the program Links of Social Participation “Yellow Caps”, Virgilio Gómez, stressed the great importance of social participation in this type of recreational and preventive activities, since “it promotes identity in an artisanal way and also the preventive and current health culture in the whole world”.

A press bulletin announced that the winner of the first place in the amateur category, Lázaro Chuc Can, received recognition from the UNID and also $ 7,000 pesos (315 U.S dollars) in cash, two hotel nights and a 50 per cent scholarship at the UNID in Quintana Roo.
On his turn, the second place, Pascual Pech Dzul, received $ 3,000 pesos (135 U.S dollars) in cash and a 30 percent scholarship in the UNID Quintana Roo and the third place, Tania Esmirna Sarao received $ 2,000 pesos (90 U.S. dollars) in cash, and a 20 per cent scholarship UNID- Quintana Roo.
In addition, it was highlated that Edilberta Chuc Can was named as an honorable mention of the call.

Similarly, it was highlighted that in the professional category, the first place was for Scarlett Mora Magaña who received $ 3,000 pesos (135 U.S. dollars) in cash, a creative photography workshop with Yenny Gaona, and a 50 per cent UNID Grant (Qroo).
The second place, Phoebe Mora Magaña, received $ 2,000 pesos (90 U.S. dollars) in cash and a scholarship of 30 percent UNID (Qroo) and the third place Consuelo del Carmen Sanchez Diaz $ 1,000 pesos (45 U.S. dollars) in cash and a scholarship of 20 percent UNID (QRoo). 
In turn, the winner of the first place in the amateur category, Lázaro Chuc, thanked Felipe Carrillo Puerto for making this call and recognized the work they do in the X Pichil community, as well as being able to share part of their cultural identity in these mouth mask.
For her part, the organizer of the call, Maku Lignarolo, thanked the 42 participants and recognized the work of UNID in making this contest possible, as well as their support.
